Help setting up a calcium reactor

Hey guys, I finally got a calcium reactor and I need help setting it up. It is a ReefTek single camber. I never own or used a calcium before so I am not sure of what tubing goes where. I am located in the southbay area. So if someone is local by torrance, gardena etc.. Maybe I can swing by and you can show me how to set the unit up. Thanks in advance.

Here is my reeftek Ca reactor. It is very simple. Feed pump going to the blue tube, CO2 going to the black tube with bubble counter above and the small tube on top is your effluent. I hope you know what the heck i am talking about :). Why don't you use your user manual? If you don't have one, contact Jorge at Reeftek and he'll email or send you one.

Thanks for the responses. You lost me on the top tube (effluent). I guess that is to fill up the reactor with water. And where does the red tube go? Tank?

Little black = C02 in

line at the top of the unit = effulent out

blue line on the SIDE of the unit has to be fed back into it somehow as that looks like the C02 path or it could be a perge for excess c02

The red looks like the intake ( the part you stick into the tank or on the MJ-1200. Ideally you just want the effluent dripping back into the tank a few drips a minute. not a constant stream.

That is my guess. I havent set up this peticular unit before.

Don't worry about the red. Just open the valve when you start feeding water into the reactor. That valve help remove air bubble out of your reactor during your initial set up. When there is nomore air in your reactor, close the valve and leave it alone.
