Help!

I just bought 2 xr30w Pro's for a new reef tank I'm starting up, and tried to go through install process. The software doesn't load on myna Mac Yosemite 10.10.1. I click on the app and it just dies instantly - sometimes I see a small window at top right that says log in, but then clicking anywhere in there it goes away - app crashes.

No virus software running.

Is it not compatible with latest Mac OS?

What to do? Need my lights on.

It works fine on my Mac. I would delete the program, then download the "Reeflink Setup Utility MAC" from here, just in case yours didn't download correctly the first time.

Mark,

You will want to update the Java on your machine in order for the Connection Manager to run properly. Please go to the following link and proceed through the download. http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572

This is where I stand. After 2 weeks of opening a number of different emails and using different browsers I was able to register and download the ecosmartlive. Now it has been impossible to install it I continue to get an error message when trying to install the connection manager. This is the error message:To open “EcoSmartLiveConnectionManagerSetup” you need to install the legacy Java*SE*6 runtime.

I called customer support and they assure me that if I deleted newer java updates that I would be able to install the connection manager. I have done that, well think I have, and I continue to get the same error message. Man this is so frustrating, I have the lights that I really wanted and cant do nothing more than basic settings.

Can someone please help me, what do I need to do here now? How can I erase java totally out of the computer so I can install the java version that allows the connection manager to be install, or is this crazy?

Alex I downloaded the java from the link and I went to install the connection manager and now this is the error I get:

“EcoSmartLiveConnectionManagerSetup” is on the disk image “EcoSmartLiveConnectionManagerSetup.dmg”. Google Chrome downloaded this disk image yesterday at 8:19 AM from www.ecosmartlive.com.
