help signs of infection???(pics)

i have a tomato clown that has been doing healty for the last month or so

recently i upped the water temperature from 77 to 79

i've noticed the clown has been breathing harder and opening and closing its mouth more than average

its white stripe looks as if it has become molded and it is turning brown in large blotches however the rest of him appears normal

i gave him a 2 min fresh water bath today, i think it put him under alot of stress and could have caused the excessive breathing considering it was a 20 min strugle to get him out of the tank

please help i do not know what to do is this a bacterial infection or just a shedding/ molting of skin on his stripe ?????

its hard to tell in the pics but the blotches are very apparent in person

Here is a possibility: trying running a search for Amyloodinium or "marine velvet". The rapid breathing and the brown coloration on the stripe (actually on the whole body, but it just shows up better on the stripe) are symptoms. Of course, they are symptoms of bacterial disease as well, but those are most often secondary infections.
Why did you raise the temperature? Make sure that you tank has good gas exchange/aeration.
FW dips are typically done for 5 to 7 minutes, 2 will likely not do anything. Also, a 20 minute chase, as you said isn't good for the fish.
