help skimmer bubbling too much

Hello i just got a DIY downdraft skimmer and it is making to much bubbles. It started foaming withing 2 minutes and is making just white foam constantly. What can i do?

well you can install a needle valve to control the air flow....but my guess is you have a high waste count in your water and your skimmer is freaking out trying to remove it. If this is the case I would let it just remove the waste and it should start calming down in a few days.

Its a downdraft skimmer it makes bubbles no matter what doesn it? When the water is forced thro the bioballs. Anyone else

it should stop producing micro bubbles after running it for awhile it sounds like it is skimming a lot of waste?

I dont think it is waste because its producing pretty clear whater when it settles and the foam is just white not brown at all
