About 6 weeks ago, I bought a small peach skunk clown. I kept him in quarrantine for a week, ensuring he was eating well, before dosing the quarrantine tank with cupramine. (which I do for all of my new fish) I was conscerned, being a scaleless fish, about dosing teh copper, but from what I had read, cupramine is more tolerable for scaleless fish. Anyhow, he came through the 2 week copper treatment fine, and I added him to my reef 3 weeks ago.
He quickly found a frogspawn host, and has been happy, eating well, and acting very normal.
However a few days ago, I noticed that there are patches on his skin which seem to be discolored (bleached if you will) which have appeared to be growing somewhat bigger over the past 4 days. His behavior and eating habits have not changed, he is still very active and feeding well.
What could be going on?
Thanks,
-J
