Help stock list

That statement about the pipes may be a bit sweeping imo, but it's on point in general. You could always try one or two later. Their impact on bioload is relatively low. Even though they're kinda hard to feed, they don't really have much body mass and don't eat all that much, just often.

The aggressiveness of the sixline will depend on the individual fish. I know of plenty that do great in a mixed reef takes with a variety of fish. Also, a yellow tang would be fine for this tank, just make sure it is in the 3-4 inch range or less. Like everyone has said skip the pipefish, especially with clownfish they will kill it in a couple of days max.

Cgauer5, please try to be less sweeping in your statements. I have kept pipes with Ocellaris clowns for over a year and they never even seem to notice eachother.

Tomini tang , clowns ( pair ) , blenny ( any ) , cardinals ( even #'s ). Is this a reef or FOWLR ? If its a reef , stay away from butterfly fish and angels.

skip the pipefish, then you have the whole issue of eeding and they are only supposed to be in a species tank or with seahorses or mandarins so they dont have any competition for food. also they need pods and brine shrimp.
Mandarins and seahorses also eat pods, so they would compete for food. Maybe that's what you meant, but since the OP is just starting, it's important to be clear. Also, brine shrimp, unless you're hatching babies, won't help.

To the OP, sorry if you've already answered this and I just missed it, but what kind of clown do you have? It makes a difference, since there's quite a range of aggression depending on species.

The Clown I Have is a Ocellaris
