Help stocking 50g

I have a 50g reef tank with 2 zebra barred gobies, 2 gold stripe maroon clowns, a sixline wrasse and a pink spotted watchman goby,a sea cucumber, cleaner shrimp, various snails & hermit crabs, come lps corals and a few mushrooms.
Just wondering if you can suggest some interesting new fish that would be compatible to the current livestock in my 50g reef tank. Thanks for your help!

I hate to say it, but you're going to have a hard time adding any new fish to a tank that size now that the maroons and the sixline wrasse have made themselves at home.

How big are the clowns and how long have they been in the tank?

I agree, but something hardy like a starki damsel would work out fine. I stock light and would stop at those 7 if it were me. You might be ok with a royal gramma too... just keep an eye on those maroons because they can be very nasty.

The maroons are small, 1 inch to 1.5 inches, and have been in the tank 3weeks. They each have an small anemone they host. Anybody have any experience with royal dottybacks, purple stripe dottyback (pseudochromis diadema) or red honey damsels? Good, bad or other? Never owned on and curious what they are like. I'm basically just looking to add a pop of color to the tank. Thanks for your help.

Fish are up to you; but I'd get all your stocking done before the clowns mature and pair up. At that point, they probably will be OK with existing fish; but won't allow any newcomers. A mature female maroon is the most territorial fish I know of; not really aggressive, but the clowns will claim a large part of your tank as theirs. Beautiful fish, though!

Do you think the percs and occy clowns are nearly as territorial as the maroons. Would you be saying the same thing if he had a mated pair of another type of clown?

The percs and ocellaris are not as territorial as the maroons. I think the skunks may be the least territorial but i do not have any first hand experience with them, just something i vaguely remember reading and could be completely wrong.

Thats what I have heard as well. I too have a similar question as Trigger01. I just dont have the maroons, I have picassos, really want to get some fish into the tank soon too.

Well, when I had a extremely EVIL Ocellaris, I added my new fish at night. when that didn't work, I just took him out for a couple a days. It might work for you, but in my experience, as soon as the Ocellaris returned, It got nasty.

Anyway, hope I didn't scare you. :D

My experience with them is in a 50 gallon, so the added space may have helped. I had them with a dwarf angel, a fairy wrasse and a little goby without any problems. Just a little chasing when the angel tried to take food from their anemone.
