HELP System is fine but getting emails every hour HELP

As the title says. The system is doing fine but I keep getting an alart text every hour on the hour And have no clue why. It just started doing this last night.

Yesterday it didn't send me a text when it should have for high temp because I forgot to turn on my home air and it was hot as crap out. So temp rose above 80 and I recived no text alert. No clue why, it was working fine sometime back when I set it up and tested it.

So I check and under the control settngs email was turned off "no clue why I didn't do it". So I turned it the ON. Know I getting a text every hour.


Can't say I'm finding this system to be a very reliable if crap goes hay wire once a month.

Any help would be great thanks

Also once again I can not connect via web to the system when using the set IP Yet I can connect with aquanotes away from home with that same set IP

I occasionally lose my web server as well. It just stops working every so often. Last time it happened, I realized I could still telnet into it. There is a command, can't remember if it's reboot or restart (there's a thread on here about it), that will get things back up again. Although if you're using DHCP, it might get another IP address. Which might be an issue if you are away and cannot find a way to determine the new IP.

Yah I use the DHCP and just yesterday the power kick off for a little and when the system rebooted it can back on with a new IP and know I can connect to it via web or phone.

Is there any way to get around the IP from changing and work with the web and aquanotes app on the iPhone?

Turn off DHCP in the Apex. Save settings and restart. It will retain the current addressing info.
