help! thinking about getting sps coral.

i started this hobby about few months ago, i have zoa, hammer, xenia, flowerpot, mushroom. acan corals, brain and something that i dont even know their names,,,, so far they are doing well. now i want to move on the sps corals which a lot harder i think. what should i carefull about ??? need advice

I dont see a whole heck of a lot of room in there to add any SPS...

You could try gluing a monti cap up against the glass, but as it gets bigger it might block out the light to the items below.

I think it looks good the way it is man. Just leave it.

Might want to head over to the SPS forum and read some of the stickies. There's high lighting and high flow requirements to think about, plus a greater need for stability of Alk/Ca/Mg. Most successful SPS tanks tend to lean towards lower nitrate/phosphate levels, but not all. Mixed reefs are challenging because the different corals have such different needs. Correct coral placement will be really important.
