Help Upgrading tank

My current tank is 75 gallons with around 90 lbs. of live rock, live sand, I have 1 naso tang and 2 clownfish. I bought a 125 long that I need to put in the same place as the 75 gallon. The 75 sits on tile and I will need to slide it around 6 feet to make room for the new tank. I am thinking of emptying the water down to a few inches and taking the rocks out and the Naso and then moving it. I would then put everything back in the old tank and set up the new one. Do you think this is a good idea, any suggenstions would be helpful.

Also When i set up the new tank I would like some Ideas on how long to take to transfer everything over. How more rock to buy and best recommendation on a sump/refugium. I have 384 watts of power compacts and I need to add an overflow (should I have it drilled or not?) with a refugium. Thanks in advance

I would recommend drilling your new tank. I don't like relying on a siphon overflow, especially during vacations...

I'd recommend some new (clean) toughneck rubbermain storage bins for holding your fish and live rock during the move. Get some help and plan a full day just incase. Careful not to stir up your sandbed, depending on how old and deep it is it could release quite a bit of dying anerobic bacteria and other stored up nutrients that could be toxic in high quantities.
