Help w/ Canon Powershot S50

I'm trying to get some closeup shots of coral and they are coming out blurry. Anyone out there with eperience with this camera that can help me out? Im still learning about the settings.

You may be too close, or you may be getting camera shake that makes everything look blurry, try increasing the shutter speed and see if that helps.
