Last nite I did a 10 gal water change and cleaned the grills on my Korallia 4, 3 and 1 in my 70 gal. I also changed out the phosguard and carbon in the fluval 305 canister filter with some new GFO and carbon. First time Ive run GFO - I didnt measure just eyeballed it similar to the large phosguard I usually run. I also have about 6 or 8 lbs of LR in the fluval. No sponges etc. 70 lb of LR in the tank. Tank is about 9 months old and generally stable w/ half a dozen fish and various mixed corals. Not really loaded up at all. I do weekly water changes with no noticable effects. This morning at 6 am or so all looked normal and I fed Mysis to my Lobo, Trachy, and St. Thomas Ricordia. All ate heartily. This evening all of the mushrooms and the St. Thomas are noticably shriveled. Some of my zoos are noticeably shriveled - some not. I have a large elephant ear also somewhat drawn up. some of my other Ricordias are pulled up tight but others look OK. The St. Thomas really looks bad - its mouth is wide open as if its screaming. Its about one-third normal size with white edges and brownish tint in place of its usually lush and happy green self. Other corals Lobo, other ricordias, Zoos etc all look OK. All params I can measure are OK: Salinity is 1.026 measured w/ my refractometer (calibrated). Calcium 540, Mag 1350, phosphate 0, amonia 0 temp 76.2, KH 9DK, Nitrate 0, Ph 8.0 just after MH lights out. Any Ideas?
