Hi everyone,

I need someone who has experience with plumbing external skimmers to help install a gravity fed external skimmer for me. I live in Pequannock (near Wayne). Free beer to the one who can do the job!

Thanks,
Gary

Anybody on here ever plumb an external skimmer before?

Yes but you live really far from me.

Free beer and a steak? : ) Anyone here near me that can offer a hand. I live up on the 2nd floor to my landlord and I cant take a chance with my plumbing skills or lack thereof.

Thanks,
Gary

I might be able to give you a hand one night next week. But just some questions:
Are you going to feed the skimmer from the overflow or with a pump?
Are you using tubing or hard PVC pipe from your overflow?

It looks like you need to put a T fitting on your overflow pipe and put a valve between the T fitting and the skimmer so you can adjust the feed.
