here are 2 more hope anyone can help should i keep or dump right he is moving has moved a good 4 inches on the rock in the past 3 hours

It's very bleached. Needs to be in low light area and fed every 3 days or so with some mysis shrimp until it gets more color and stronger. Then you can increase the light.

I can't tell what kind of anemone it is with this picture. I don't know many of the species that well to say what it is just looking at the foot etc.

yea the guy i got the rock from said that it lost its color it was the only thing in the tank and the water level was about 3 inches above it dont know how long it was in that tank im guessing awhile tho i feed it last night with 2 small shrimps and it ate them fast

It's a non hosting anemone. Keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't start to make babies. The tentacles look to similar to aiptasia for my liking. Neat looking anemone though.

thats just what i thought too but the foot looks a little different but i will keep an eye on it its the only thing in the tank right now

I think the appearance of aiptasia is only because of the conditions it's been under. Keep feeding it and slowly increase the lighting. I'm still going to stay with long tentacle anemone for now. Your second picture that had some color makes me think this. Sure I could be wrong and might just be :D but for now that's my story and I'm sticking to it :lmao:

Oh yeah, Aiptasia don't get that big.

I didnt think they got that big either. So im just going to keep feeding it. Fed it 2 more kriel shrimp again and made very little work out of them. Seems to be starving. Have tbe lights off right now will see how it goes. Any suggestions on what else to feed him?

Leave the lights on just set them low so it still gets some light just not very bright. It will start healing rather quickly with both food and light, just don't over do either one. LOL Easy to do I know.

Seriously that is not an Aiptasia that much I'm sure of. Just give it a few mysis or a few small pieces of fresh frozen people shrimp from the grocery store. I feed mine the fresh frozen shrimp twice a week. Just be careful not to give them too big of a piece.

Not liking the sound of that think i may just get rid of it. Sence ill be putting clowns in this tank so i dont think it will go with them plus other corals i plan on getting in this tank. So Anyone want it?. You can have. :):deadhorse:
