looks to me like a bivalved slug. Usually found in macro algae, usually caulerpa taxifolia. Benificial aquarium animal but is unlikely to live in your tank due to predators, captive water conditions and food.
i took some caulerpa from a shore yesterday and when i got back home i inspected everything and i found that little thing... i hope it survives... thanks kaimarkhirst
It might be a Julia species as Kai suggests, hard to tell from the pic. The outline looks more like an Oxynoe species though, which is another sacoglossan that should be an algae eater. They are related to sea hares.
