Here is the scoop, I have a new tank thats been running two months and its been pretty stable for the last few weeks. I decided to go ahead and add my stock list to it, all of the fish added at the smallest size I could get them to make things easier on the tank. All the fish came in two days ago except for two which will be here tomorrow and the lawnmower that went in sooner. I drip acclimated them for an hour at a slow drip using an AccliMate.
Added are a lawnmower, purple firefish, a clown goby, and an African Flameback. The lawnmower and firefish is pretty active and hang out in front of the tank. The other fish disappeared after I added them and I haven't seen them since, the tank does have a full screen top.
Today I came home from work and noticed this on my fish, He doesn't sit still so I can't get a good look at it. I can't tell if the other fish bothered him, if he got scraped or something or if its a parasite. I can tell you that it materialized in a flash. It wasn't there last night and its there now at 10am the next morning. Here are the best photos I can get and some questions answered. Im gunna keep trying to get better pictures.
UPDATE: I found my clown goby. He made it through the grates on the intakes and I found him sitting on top of the floss. Removed him and going to do a 25% change. Could have been there over 24 hours.
