Help! What's wrong with my Naso?

Background: I purchased a 2" Naso Tang online and it's been in QT (20gal) since 2/18. It's had this blotchy skin since it arrived. Only treatment was Prazi Pro...neither he or his QT mates have shown any serious symptoms of disease other than his grey patches...and no, they do not go away. It has a great appetite and eats everything I throw in there. Water is changed 25% every other day, so no parameter issues. What is your best guess as to what this is and how to treat it? I'm hesitant to add to DT until I know what it is. Thanks.

It could be stress.
I've had my Naso over year. He sometimes gets blotched like that when he is sleeping or when the lights first come on. But they DO go away.

Thanks. Since it's been almost two months I'm going to move him (and other QT mates) to my DT...hopefully he'll feel less stressed in a larger environment. Keep you posted.

I had this same issue with a Naso in QT. Was doing fine, swimming actively but would get this white blotches and was also very dark in color at different times. While doing a water change over the weekend it got like this and then started swimming erratically and eventually died. I have a white Bristletooth that has been in QT over 5 weeks, so now I have to decide if I want to start QT again or just assume it was stress related.....

How did yours turn out, OP? Still have the same issue? They usually get large white blots when they're stressed or when lights go out, but that's pretty uniform and all over the body. I hope yours did fine, mine is almost done with TTM.
