I have a 12 gallon nano that has been up since August. I have managed to survive and so far keep most of the algae down but I am losing the battle with the wire algae. I have tried scraping at the same time as siphoning it out but nothing is helping. I have 2 astrea snails, 1 watchman goby, a lavendar tube anemone, and some pulsing xenia. Is there any way to get rid of it?

reduce your nutrients, are you using RO/DI water? how often are your water changes? also do you have any powerheads in there or is it just the stock pump?

Thank you so much for answering me! I've been using distilled water changing 2 gallons once weekly. I upgraded the pump to a Maxi jet 900 with 2 heads. I feed the gobi 3 times weekly with a pipette and use 0.8ml of coral life once monthly. I've tried pulling on the wire algae but it is tougher than I am:(
