Help with 6105 and 7091 Controller

Hello, I recently acquired a 6105 with a 7091 controller. I can't seem to make it vary the flow at all. The light on the controller flashes back and forth between modes but the flow of the pump never changes. I have always heard great things about your products but this is the first time I have owned one. Can you give me any advice on what to check to fix this problem?
Thanks.

The most probable will be a break in the controller cable, the 7091 was discontinued in 2009 and replaced by the 7092, so it is a bit older. If you disconnect the controller and turn the potentiometer on the black box and the pump responds, we can generally assume the pump is fine. I would make sure the potentiometer is turned all the way up and reconnect the controller. If it still does not work, I would open the controller and check that three wires from the cable are soldered to the board, you may see one is unsoldered, other times the break is further along in the cable and not visible. Do make sure that two different speeds have been set so you can see a difference, turn one fully clockwise and one fully counterclockwise and touch is more reliable than sight to judge flow changes.

Thanks for the quick reply. I unhooked the controller and it responded to the potentiometer. I couldn't get the back off the controller, even after removing the two screws. So I hooked it back up and it works! I have one set at max and one at min. Also, if I were going to add one or two more 6105's which controller would you recommend ? Thanks

The knobs pry off to open the controller. The 7092 can run 2 pumps, the 7095 or 7096 can run 4. The 7096 has the most features.
