Hello,
i have 7096 with 2 x 6125 for 6 months now
my first problem is i cannot any more "receive from unit" it gives me "error: unknown message" although it was working before

my second problem
i used to use the same setup in a 400L L shape tank in pulse mode and had a 2 inch wave

no i moved to a all in one 400L tank where the left side is sump/refuge
since i cannot make any wave

currently i have one 6125 in the rear left side and the other in the front right side and each aiming to upper in the long side in pulse with .4 second varying between 30-100 but no wave

i'm thinking to have both of them in the right side one to back and one to front and aiming the long side

can you advice what is the best config/placement for making waves (i like the way corals move in wave) and if not what is best for making great flow
i have a 4 in sugar sand so i dont need to have allot of sand move

thank you

6125 is not controllable? I guess you must have 6105?

To create a wave you should use the 3rd and 4th sockets and the auto tuning feature, with both pumps on one side you will use synchronous wave mode.

This was posted by aaron.miller and has generally solved the controller problem for most users. This happens if the cable is disconnected during an update-

Hi guys,
I had this same problem with mine over here in Oz,
All you need to do is load the avrootloader program, found in c:/tunze/multicontroller 7096.
Then choose connect to device. Once connected chose the drop down box beside flash and choose tunze 7096.acy
Then down the bottom left hit program.
You should get a flash succesful message
Start up your 7096 program from the desktop shortcut, you will see a black box appear and then all done fixed.

Hello,
you are right it's 6105
i'll try today the hint from aaron.miller
for using socket 3 and 4 , it use minimum as 0 which i dont like
i used to use 30 -100 and it was doing wave as you see in the video above

i'll try putting both in the right side and see if it will make me a wave
thank you again for your reply

will keep you updated

Hello Again,

i could not update it the way you provided
i got
Error: Installed software version is higher as the update

The firmware is corrupted and the unit will need to be sent to the factory and be rebooted. I would contact Tunze in Germany or your dealer to repair or exchange the controller.

Hello,
thank you for the reply
but it's very hard and costly to send it to factory
is thee a way to do it my self?

The only way is the info I gave before, if this does not work, it has to come to the factory. Did you buy it from a dealer in Egypt? Maybe he can exchange it for you?

Hello,
thank you again for your quick reply
i purchased it from USA so it's hard to send it back
any way i'll try from another computer and come back
thank you

Hello rvitko
i tried again from another windows7 laptop and it failed also
i'll check with windows xp or i have to wait for someone traveling to have it with him

i have another question
to have the wave effect, can i use the wavecontroller sockets 3&4 with the 2 6105
or the 0 to 100% has a bad effect on it

The only damage it does to the pumps is that they will build up lime faster and need more frequent cleaning, as long as they are cleaned every 4 months in most conditions they should be fine.
