Help with acan please!

One of my small colonies have been receding and a couple days ago I noticed a bluish/whit slime on the bottom of the colony and now it's growing up. My other acan colony seems to be better but not great I noticed the polyps haven't been opening as much. All my other LPS and softies seem to be doing just fine.

Here is a picture of the colony with the slime on it.

Bad cell phone shot but hopefully you can make out what it is and help me cure it.

Thanks,

I've had it for a few months now, I don't believe there was a head there before. The white slime also goes down to the bottom of the plug. I'll try to get a better picture later.

I was finally able to get a much better picture of what I am talking about. I also noticed something that looked similar on my GSP, I hope whatever this is does not nuke my tank!

What is the consistency of the offending goo? It almost looks like a sponge. Have you tried blowing it off with a turkey baster ( in an isolated container, of course)? The last one is funny, but it usually is spot on - What does it smell like? If it smells like death, then its bad, scrape, cut or whatever it takes to get rid of it and don't let it touch other corals. If it smells like the sea, it *might* not be terrible, but it might be irritating the acan.
