Help with an id

I think it's an sps but I'm not sure it has longer polyps then what I have seen on other sps but when the polyps are closed up the skeleton looks a branching sps.

I'll see if I can get some better pictures but based on the pics online it doesn't look like either of those.

The skeleton or base are not soft it just has long polyps. I'll get some more pics when I get home.

When it's closed up it has a few different branches like a birds nest would

Anthelia. If it derives from a central stalk, then it's xenia. If it derives from a mat and retracts into a short tube-like structure, then it's anthelia.

It retracts into a stalk. I'll get pics of it closed up when I'm home. Hopefully that will help with the Id.

After some searching last night I think it's a braireum gorgonian (corky finger gorgonian)
