HELP with BTA!!

i swear i just left for a half hour and this issue occurred. it was fully extended just a moment ago and now its all recoiled and sunken in. its still attached to the rock real well and i feed it on a regular basis. it was bleached when i got it tho. but everything else in the tank is awesome i did a water change about a week ago and planning to do another one tomorrow. and i just dosed my tank with the essentials yesterday. my Hammers are fully extended, xenias are pulsating like crazy, mushrooms are looking good, etc. and fish are all healthy. i just dont know why the BTA is acting weird and his tentacles shriveled. help anyone?

Sounds like he is just deflated it should reinflate and be back to normal soon.

thanks, yeah he did inflate a lil later on when the lights were out but he's at it again today. i was just wondering if it was a stress related issue.

What do you feed, and how often? BTA's can "shrivel up" from time to time - it's their way of expelling waste typically. Post a picture of your tank too, it'll help us figure it all out.

mine do this regularly, esp after a big meal. have you fed it recently?
