Hey guys,

I am a complete Newbie to reefing so bear with me. I am looking to build an ATO system with the following components:

1) RO/DI unit
https://filterdirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=29

2) ATO System (Double with Bracket)
http://autotopoff.com/Double/index.html

3) Container
https://www.amazon.com/Reliance-Pro...8&qid=1477936204&sr=8-2&keywords=Aqua+trainer

4) TDS Meter
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002T6L5M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The container will be adjacent to my cabinet, and, initially I will fill it manually with RO/DI water.

What I would like to know is?

1) What pump to use?

2) How to best connect the RO/DI unit to a water source? (Current idea is to use a diverter on my kitchen faucet)

3) Any additional tubing I would require for this setup? (I haven't seen much info on AutotopOff.com builds)

Thank you so much!!

http://www.marinedepot.com/Tom_Aqua...low_Boxes-Tom_Aquatics-OE11371-FIOFOA-vi.html Get one of these The pump sucks and pushes water and also get some solid air line tubing, place the solid air line tubing in the bucket and connect the airline tubing to the solid tubing to the part of the pump that pushes you can feel that with your fingers. You can just buy the pump you really don't need the little canister. PS if you just buy the pump make sure it has to nipples coming out of the pump not just one.

The C-60 model its the correct model, I have used them for years. How far or close will the container be to the tank how high will the pump have to move the water?

I have my RO/DI go into the sump instead of the tank, easier on the pump and less of a chance of getting a siphon. I simply bend the air line tubing with heat over a stove and cool it off with water to set the U. I hang the U over the edge of the sump so it trickles into the sump.

If you want pictures PM with your phone number and I will text them to you.
