Can not keep chalice alive ????????

I have killed 7 frags of chalice, but determined to be successful.

I have a 50 gallon reef tank 24x24x22. 18 months old. Have kessil 350 LED light over it.

Alk is 9
Ca is 400
Ammonia is 0.25 ppm
Salinity is 1.025
Temp is 76

I have checked with a par meter and they are at approx 60 par
Flow is low.

Trachyphyllia, lobophyllia, zoas, palys, mushrooms, colt do great.
All fish doing great.

Any ideas????

i'd say give them more par, chalice's from my own experience don't mind moderate to high flow as they have more of a SPS structure than LPS

the few i've kept where placed in 100 to 150 PAR, flow was in a 200g with 2 mp40's and a 1500g return pump so mine were never placed in a low flow section but agree lighting might have been a little low for them,

your calc seems low i always shoot for atleast 500ppm of calc, what is your magnesium at? i always had my mag at 1400 to 1600ppm

also maybe try upping your temp to around 79-80 but no more if you can keep it there i think you'll see better results.

I have about a dozen chalices in my tank. While they do prefer low light and the coloration looks better I would definitely go higher than 60. In the 100's should be better. Also higher cal like others have said and that ammonia should be 0. Im wondering if that is the issue.

How fast are they dying from the time you put them in the tank ????
