help with clam

hi,one of my clams are pasted in other clam,how can i take off them??anyone help me??thanks.

You mean it is attached to another clam? What kind of clams. If you are careful you can cut the little threads (but do not pull on it as that can cause injury/death). If you use a small sharp blade you can slide it under the shell and cut the threads. I had to do that with mine and after I regained my breath (I was very nervous) all was well.

thanks DSR,yes it`S atached another clam,one is a maxima and other is a squamosa,can i cut the threads ??thanks.

That is what I was told to do to move my maxima. I did it and it was fine. Reattached in an even less convenient location (I think he knows it drives me crazy). hahaha. Just cut as far away from the shell as possible using something pretty sharp. But above all else, don't pull up on it... that is where you start having problems.
