Help with configuring internet access

I have a dyndns account

I logged into my router and set the and set the start and end port to 8000 w/ server IP address 192.168.1.50

I set the dyndns account up in my router.

I entered http://xxxxxxxxxxxx.dyndns-wiki.com:8000 into the address bar and get nothing.

What am i doing wrong?

Got it to work.....forgot to change the port # in the apex network configuration
