Help with coral ID

I bought this frag as a Montipora, but it's not like any Montipora I've ever seen. There's another for sale that looks the same, just different colors that they are calling a stylophorus (spelling?). I have attached a pic (can't get 2 pics to load from my phone for some reason. It's just that neither of the species named have "eyes" like these do. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. Ray

That's it!!

That's it!!

Thank you so very much! I will likely be posting a few more over the next few weeks. You guys are the best! Thanks again. Ray

Yes, Thanks

Yes, Thanks

Yes, that's where I bought it. He said it was a Montipora, I just had doubts after seeing it in person but after seeing it feed and looking at the Montipora in the link above I definitely agree that's what it is. They have amazing corals, and are very nice. I will continue to buy from them for sure. Thanks. Ray

Call it what you want I doubt that's a monti. Looks like either a cyphastrea or more like an echinopora lamellosa if you ask me. My bet is on the lamellose. If you saw feeding tentacles coming out, it ain't no monti LOL!

No feeder tentacles, polyps had grabbed eggs, or something in the mix I feed, but no sweeper or feeding tentacles. Also, no corallites of any kind so no chalice. I have some lamellosas and this definitely isn't one. Until it gets larger or something starts looking funny, I think it's safe to assume it's the Montipora from above link, or very similar. Thank you for input. I wish I could take a better pic. I will update if anything changes. Ray

Definitely possible

Definitely possible

It could be. Hard to tell without being able to blow it up. I'm going to try and get a pic up. It is immediately after feeding so what I thought were eyes are unusual polyps because they were all holding on to food. I'm going to try and post anothe monti that I have that I've never seen the growth form of. Thank to all for the help with either one. Both are fairly small frags. Sincerely. Ray

Different frag I need help with

Different frag I need help with

This is my exact frag. Never seen Montipora with this growth pattern, but I believe it's some type of montipora with a unique growth pattern (and colors!). Thanks to all

look at the frag pic on the reefgardener link, you can clearly see the polyp, it's a monti

Yes, that's what they call it but it's the Alien Spawn from reef gardener at the link above. JoeDaReefer, I wasn't aware you could only post where you live, does that mean you can only post here, or reply, if you live in Miami? You didn't post your location so I have to assume you are from Miami, or why would you post here? Furthermore, if you can't help, which at least you aren't currently, then why did you post here? I can look for Mobile AL area but actually I will just post wherever I want. I thought these guys could help, and they have, and now you come trolling along. If you have something valuable to say then please by all means do. Otherwise I would appreciate it if you would kindly go serve no purpose somewhere else. If you think this is your "turf", I assure you it is not. I apologize if I offended anyone other than JoeDaReefer.
