i am looking for 2 new pieces of coral to pick up this weekend. i currently have a hairy mushroom, some ricordea and some zoa's. i want some coral that will give a little more dimension. does anyone have any ideas?

these will go good with eachother. and will add alot to your tank if you can get some pumping xenia and a leahter any kind. they are great and work perfect for center peices.

what lighting do you have? And you may wanna be carefull about a leather in a 24. I just got a 3 inch frag of toadstool from a guy who had it in his 24 nano...when i got to his place, he showed me the tank and i was amazed to see a HUGE toadstool leather that was taking up the whole left side of the tank and was actually starting to grow out of the tnak. He said he'd only had it 6 months and got it when it was about the size of the one he gave me. So be carefull w/those.

Pulsing xenia is a good choice tho imo. But also you can prolly get that for free from just about any reefer in your area...so check your local board to see if someone can spare it. Also greens stars are good, along w/kenya tree

GSP (green star polyps) are nice but put them on a rock that is isolated so that it does not over run your tank.

I vote for Xenia, I got a piece for my tank the other day and it has given the tank a completely different look. Every time I look at my tank now I think "that's what a reef should look like!"

Xinia is one of my fav. I love to watch it flow with the current and pulse. My Pic:D

neon green candy cane's are pretty nice. Brightly colored easy to take care of. Get the really bright one though

I HATE Xenia, it was nice at first but has been problematic ever since. I am always trimming or pruning or scrubbing or tossing out, pieces of this stuff. It grows too fast and spreads like wildfire.
