Help with Emperor Angel after Cupramine treatment

I treated my 210g display with Cupramine due to a velvet outbreak. I understand this was not the best course of action, however I followed Seachems instructions suffered no losses and was able to rid the tank of velvet. So prior to the 30 day cupramine treatment, during the treatment and now 2 weeks after the treatment the emperor angel just swims in front of the powerheads or return all day. The only time he moves is to eat, which is obviously a good sign. He is also eating just as vigorously as before the velvet outbreak which again is a good sign.

I know this is a symptom of velvet however, being that it has seemed to be eradicated from the tank I was expecting his behavior to change. All other fish including dwarf angels and a queen angel are acting completely normal and are not exhibiting this behavior.

Cupramine has been removed from tank using cuprisorb for 10 full days.

any suggestions on what I could/should do are welcomed.

Thanks
Erik

Could have gill damage. Could be reaction to copper. Could be flukes. I would fresh water dip him and give a few formalin quick cure baths. Put him somewhere where you can get to him easy. He may also need antibiotics if gill infection. Can happen after parasite. Either way I'd get him out and into a qt or hospital tank with biological filter and hit him with baths and dips first. Maybe return him to antibiotic water. Kannaplex and furan work well on gills in combo

And it could still be velvet. Copper isn't always successful. Dips and baths will be. I'd also get myself some chloraquin phosphate in case he still has it.
