Help with fluorescent candy cane

Need some help with my fluorescent candy cane. It has 13 heads had it for a month or 2 has bin looking great always open and full feeding at night when tentacles are out. About 5 days ago 3 of the heads on the same branch right next to each other stopped opening and with in 3 days and have shrunk all the way down to its skeleton. The rest of the heads could not look any better my water parameters are good and all my other corals are doing good can't figure out what's causing this any help? Thanks

Are you blasting it with light?
I've had better luck on the Sandbed.
Of course, dependent on your lights.

Too much light is definitely a possibility. This is defiantly a lower light coral.

But sometimes they just pucker up for a while for no obvious reason. But they'll usually inflate again later. Corals like this can regulate the water pressure inside the polyp to suite their immediate needs.

If they need more light energy, they will inflate. Too much, they'll deflate. If they sense danger, (predation, chemical warfare, sudden current change, Justin Beaver in a Lamborgini) they may also deflate as a defensive measure.

My tank is 85gl 4' I have 2 orbit marine leds not the pro so I don't think the light is the problem unless its not strong enuff :headwally:

I think the problem is I don't have a full spectrum light or maybe it's just Justin Beaver!!!

I bought a small frag a week ago. Came home looking good but kept falling off the rock and the heads shrunk so much. They never open up to the point of letting the tentacles out.. So I'm wondering how I can help it. I do have a Current Orbit Pro. Set parameters to 50% blue 50% white during the day. Not sure whats going on
