Help with Frogspawn

Originally I had my frogspawn mid to high in the tank ,but he would retract during the day when the lights are on and expands nicely at night when the lights were off. I only have PC-R lighting in a 29g Biocube any never thought it was too much light. So a week ago I moved him to the sand bed into an area with about the same flow and now he is retracted all the time. I just can't seem to make him happy.

All my other corals are doing fine, in fact my Hammer is mid to high and he loves it.

Any suggestions.

Yeah, they're interesting depending on lighting conditions and water. I've got mine at the bottom of a T5 display... the tentacles come out real large and puffy. I've seen the same frogspawn under MH towards the top, and the results are totally opposite. Probably stating the obvious, but maybe check out the water too?
