Help with Frogspawn

I added a frogspawn to my tank about 10 days ago. The first few days it looked great, nicely inflated. The next couple of days one of the heads was somewhat deflated. Then that head looked better and the other head now looks a bit deflated. Color is still there.

I have also never seen it extend any feelers to feed. I have turkey basted it with mysis twice.

It's placed mid-level in the tank in the rockwork, with t5 lighting (about 4W/gallon). It receives medium flow.

Thanks for any help. should I try moving it? I didn't want to mess with it too much.

All water parameters are good:

SG: 1.025
nitrate: ~5
nitrite: 0
ammonia: 0
temp: 80.5 (stable, only +/- 1*)
Calcium: 410
Kh: 10

Thanks

How about flow?? Has the flow pattern changed?

Who lives with your froggie? I have a mixed Softie/LPS and soemtimes I can tell when to change the carbon by how the LPS are acting! Could also be passing crabs and snails have just annoyed it.

With that said, I watch mine go through some cycles as well. I wouldn't worry too much unless it persists for several days.

It gets indirect flow, I would put it in the medium category, though I don't have that much to compare it to. It gets ruffled around a little, but by no means blasted.

I may try and move it to a lower flow are and see what happens. Do you guys see you froggie send out feelers often? I have never seen this.

There's nothing else near the frog right now. My tank is sparsely populated with xenia, mushrooms and zoanthids. I have been running carbon for the last week or so.

thanks

I don't feed my frogspawn. It is located in the lower left hand side of tank.

They don't like salinity changes.

I rarely feed mine. Its located in the upper back corner, so it gets pretty good light from the 150 HQI MH but definately low flow.

Mine after being absolutely luxuriant closed up. Turned out the xenia had finally reached the fox coral just below it, and annoyed-coral signals were reaching it at the top of the cliff.
