help with ick

I have ick in my 210 with just 3 fish a minatius a panther and a lion. I want to get a shark in the next month and was wondering what the best way was to get rid of the ick without using copper and if i have to use copper then how long would it take to get the copper out of the tank in order for it to be safe for the shark to enter the tank
