Help with ID please

Hi all,

I found this hitch hiker on my new live rock and was wondering if anyone can help with the ID please. I'm new to the hobby so wasnt sure if it's a mantis shrimp or not.

Definitely a smasher stomatopod, but I can't tell much more than that. If you could get a bit tighter on the tail, it would help. Also, do you know where the rock came from?

I got the rock from a LFS and I think they said it was from Florida. The rock was definitely more dense than the Fiji stuff I got earlier.

I cured the rock for about 2weeks and a few 6" bristleworms came out. Then I found this critter and wasnt sure if it's a mantis shrimp which can be harmful to my fish, inverts. Took me a week to find him and catch him but i'm glad i got him out.

Thanks again for the confirmation that it's a mantis shrimp.
