*sharp scissors work really well on those fingers
*make cuts (frag the coral) outside the main aquarium

thanks Gary, I am going to attempt the frag tonite after work. I will post pics after the carnage . lol

Does anyone know if I were to cut all the fingers off the base will the base grow new fingers? (the base is 8" x 12")

the base should regrow new "fingers".

Looks like a Sinularia spp. coral.
