Help with Mantis decision.

I've been toying with the idea of adding a mantis to my new acryllic reef tank. The tank is 3/8" cell cast acrylic. What smashing type of mantis would be safe in a setup such as this? Would/could a peacock mantis smash the tank walls? I've got no problems purchasing snails for it to dine on. I'm just worried about the tank.

It can't break acrylic.

I would not be quite that definite that an O. scyllarus can't break an acrylic tank, but it is highly unlikely unless you have a 7 inch specimen in a 1/4" tank. THey can cause quick a bit of damage denting the surface. Most of my old tanks that have been used to house O. s for years are pretty scarred in the corners and right above the substrate line where animals have tryed to dig, saw their reflection, etc.
