I came back from vacation and began to inspect my Red Planet Acro and noticed a hole in the bottom.
It may be hard to see in this picture but the hole is near the plug and where the coral has bleached, here you go:
In addition, on the opposite side of this hole, the coral is beginning to bleach. Here's a picture:
Is this a pest that I should be worried about since I have more acros in this tank, or is it something else? This hole didn't use to be there, so it's definitely new, just don't know how new. Other than these areas, the coral is growing very rapidly, in the last week alone it's begun to grow 3 or 4 new arms off of it, so seems healthy enough. I'm thinking maybe I should frag it above the bleaching areas?
