HELP with my Snowflake Eeel!!!

I have a 30 gallon tank right now and its in its 3rd to 4th week cycling and i have about 10-15 punds of live rock and live sand....now my ph and ammonia are great my nitrate is droppin everyday and i notice yesterday night that it looks like my snowflake eel ( 7 inch ) is losing some of its yellow color....the spots look like they got smaller....i dont know if i amd right and might have payed alot tention...but i was wounderin whats goin on ...i do feed him frozen krill and he eats well....i have nno idea...

how long has the SFE been in there? i highly doubt the body would change so much that his spots are getting smaller. try to feed it and see if it will accept food.
