well, I useually forget to come on here because I am always fiddeling with one of my 3 tanks and refugium. (bad gravesly)
I always try to read and gather as much information on a subject before I have to ask questions. Knowledge must be earned, in my opinion.

But I have found nothing in my searches so far.
So here is the question.

Tonight, I have seen a new creature in my tank that for the life of me I can not find info on.

They are very small. Too small for my camera to take a pic of in such low light.
The largest was a purpleish grey color and almost 1/4 inch long.
Others were a redish orange and about 1/8 inch long.
I got the clearest look at the grey one.
it looked much like a worm with cillia on the sides for movement.
I hate to use a "ufo" reference, but it was almost the saltwater equivelent of what a "rod" would be. At least thats what my first thought was.

Now I have not added anything to my tank in some time.
all levels are stable, with an attatched refugium.
The main tank is a 150 reef and the fuge is a 30 gal long.
The tank is a mixture of softies, lps and sps.
The newest addition would be a toad stool added about a month ago.

I hope this all was coherent enough, it's been a long day.
Thanks for any info anyone may be able to share.
Obviously, it would all be speculation without a pic, but anything is a good starting point.
Cheers,
geoffrey

Most likely worm "swarmers", small (usually) reproductive forms of marine worms. I have a few photo examples within the worm section of my hitch hiker pages, be sure to check the zooplankton and odds & ends sections as well. Hope it is of use to you.
