Hello All,
I am designing a DIY Kalkwasser Reactor but I ran into a problem. I have the design of the reactor figured out pretty well but the problem is how I want to set it up. I want to put a RO/DI water resevoir next to the reactor that uses a small pump to send water to the kalk reactor. The problem I am having is if I do it this way, I think that the water will siphon from the reactor back into the resevoir when the pump turns off. I wanted to hook this set up to my tank by using float switches in the sump/fuge to turn the small pump on and off when the tank needed water. If anyone has any suggestions on how to hook this up without siphon problems, it will be greatly appreciated. FYI the Kalk reactor I'm building is a close clone of a Precision Marine reactor.
thanks.
