Help with parasite

I think my tang has parasite. What can I do to get rid of it? The Tang doesn't seems to eat anything. I just started treating him with quick cure. Any ideas? Thanks

A freshwater dip can help with external parasites.

You mean just put him in ro/di water without salt for a lil while?

Yup, just plain ro/di. Dip for no longer than 3 minutes. Try to keep them moving, and if its a parasite like flukes, you can see them coming off.

Make sure you adjust the PH and temp to the same as your tank on the fresh water though.

The FW dip needs to be pH adjusted and temperature adjusted to match the tank. The pH is a must! If not you will likely cause more damage to the tang than the parasites. Up to five minutes is fine. Don't panic when the tang just lays on its' side and looks pathetic...this is normal.
