Help with plumbing ideas

I have a 24 gallon aquapod and i want to add a fuge. I local reefer has a 7 gallon hex fuge and i was interested in setting it up on my tank. I was thinking that i would have a small pump send water to the fuge and then have that water gravity feed back into the tank from the hex. My question is as follows: How do i plumb the hex to overflow back into my main tank? Is the only method to buy an overflow for the hex?


Here is a pic...you can see there is some damage to the top of the hex.

is that a plastic tank? if so then just drill a hole tward the top.

Drill a hole for a bulkhead. It will drain through the bulkead into pipe or hose whatever you attach.
