Can you get a better images, less blue and a macro shot?

Do you have algae issues in the tank?

Is there exposed skeleton on this piece?

As always lighting and parameters?

Hard to tell, but to me it looks like one of the types of "slime algae" commonly seen. It could be Cyano (yes I know this is a bacteria not an algae), or dino's, although it doesn’t look stringy like dinos often do. However, I do see what looks like bubbles in your picture which can be indicative of dinos.

Hmmm. Drat!!! The tank was somewhat neglected for 3 weeks (no water changes and its only 30 gallons). Dinos sound about right to me and there ARE bubbles in the tank.

Will daily small water changes alleviate this, or will I have to dose peroxide? I am running GFO and carbon. I did dose peroxide awhile back to get rid of sargassum and it workd wonderfully.

I would just blow them off with a syringe or a turkey baster and see if they come back.
