Help with protein skimmer plans please

Hello all. I'm new to this site and pretty new to all of this stuff. I'm running a small aquaculture operation in shedding blue crabs to soft shell crabs. I'm currently running a 800-1000 gallon system and wanting to build a protein skimmer. My plans are in the making of a duel 8" pipes approximately 6' tall. By my figures this is a little overkill and I like it. My question I need help with is what air stones should I use and what pump to supply the air.

I can't give you exact spec requirements but seeing the size and scope I would creating more then 2 units having more smaller units allows for more redundancy if something bad happens. It can also allow for more consistent levels throughout the whole system.

What size wood air stone, where can I get them and how much air should expect to put through it. Thanks again
