Help With pump vs timer socket.

In case someone can come up with a solution....

Scenario: Closed loop pump currently on timer and switches on at 13:00 and off at 19:30. I have the socket set as a timer so that works fine.
But have a flash led unit for storms.. If I set the socket as a pump I do not have the flexibility with the timing so cant switch it off at the times I want. But it appears I need it as a pump if I want it to kick in with the storm.
Any ideas?

You need to set it as a pump in order to respond to the thunderstorm program -- as far as I can tell on my own equipment. Once set as a pump, you can assign it an on and off schedule if that's what you prefer.
