Help with Regal Angelfish

So my father has a regal that just got out of qt for 4 weeks. He is eating little neck clams. He has placed him in the 150 dt and will still only go for the clams nothing in the water column. Regal is about 3 inches. However he picks at the shell when all the meat is gone. Is there away to use the clam shell as a feeding station for the regal? We have tried frozen food but can not get it to stay put. Any help or idea would be appreciated.

You will need to wean him off of clams and onto frozen. Try LRS, PE Mysis, and Spiralina Brine

Have you tried thawing the food then refreezing it to the clam shell?

I'd try turning off the flow in the tank and adding some LRS on top of a clam. Then just try only LRS in a clam shell after a few days.

Well on a good note last night he tried rubber banding a chunk of lrs to a clam shell and the regal is picking at that. Yes should have tried better in qt agree.
