Help with rkl light controller

Hello to all, anyone out there us the reef keeper lite ALC? I can use some assistance setting it up.

What is it you need? I have one that I used to have on the RKE but now it is on my Archon.

hey, thanks for the reply. To be honest, I don't have a clue on how to hook it up and program it. I just purchased my LED's to replace metal halides and I'm really excited to trade them out.

Best bet is to search the Digital Aquatics forum. Those hook to the SDO output. I think you will have to make a cable. I don't remember the connections.

Thats correct, You have to make a cable. I was told mine were ready to go only to find out i needed a cable which i had zero knowledge of how to make. Luckily, someone on here was able to help me out.

I am programming my lights this weekend as well. It is supposedly pretty easy if you are using the MyReef software? We only have MACs so i am going to have to figure it out on the RKE itself. I will report back with how i did it if/when i get tit to work. Please do the same

That's cool Aufish, I hooked the lights up to just the reefkeeper lite . I plan on hooking up the lights to the ALC tomorrow. I will keep you posted.
