help with scratches on acrylic

Whats the best way to remove scratches on acrylic?

On a full or empty tank?

I used wet dry sand paper and finished it off by using novus #2 polish with an orbital sander with a soft cloth baby diaper on the wheel.

Many recommend micro-mesh which is great when the tank is full as well. If you search the DIY thread I believe Acrylics goes over step-by-step methods. It is some work, but done right you can get it almost as good as new
