Help with Singapore Angel!

Well I bought a Singapore Angel about a month ago and I havent seen him eat once. He wont touch mysis shrimp and wont eat seaweed. I dont know what to do, the past few days hes been looking rough. His color looks splotchy and faded and looks as if he has white splotches all over his main body. I dont know what to do... can anyone help? Although I will say his activity has actually gotten better lately, not nearly as much hiding and alot more active swimming, but he looks terrible.

I think its velvet. Happened to my majestic. Barely ate in the beginning and next thing you know, it soon starts to looks like crap with white blotches. Died within a few hours of seeing it with the spots (maybe 2 weeks after buying it). If you have a QT ready, then copper should help but if not, its most likely a goner. Wiz

dang... I dont have the capability of setting up a QT... its had the splotchy stuff for about a week now so i hope he can tough through it

They are very hard to get eating. About 90% of them I've seen never eats in captivity for unknown reasons. If you buy again make sure it eats before you purchase one.

Ya I realize that now... Im still hoping to save this guy though. I mean he has to be eating something to still be alive for this long...

Unsure of that but i wish you luck, lost both my majestic and emperor to it

Slow starters but many take frozen brine shrimp as a start.
